Mark Jezierny received a B.A. in Liberal Arts with an Art Major from St. Mary’s College and a Masters of Fine Arts degree in Painting from San Francisco Art Institute.
He paints primarily in acrylics or oils on canvas. His paintings of Northern California landscapes, buildings and industrial scenes are done with both brush and/or palette knife. He creates an impressionistic style with an approach that is unconventional yet boldly realistic.
Mark currently teaches painting and drawing at the Acalanes, Martinez and Mount Diablo Adult Education programs, as well as Walnut Creek Civic Arts. March 2014, “Mark Jezierny and Students” were featured at the Art Cottage Gallery in Concord.
Mark continues to give painting demonstrations and lectures to art organizations and is a member of the Lamorinda Arts Alliance. He has exhibited in numerous galleries throughout Northern California including Valley Art Gallery in Walnut Creek, Epperson Gallery in Crockett and Lyonshead Gallery in Carmel.
